Description

Characteristics: It comes from central France, from the old French region that gave it its name, Brie. It is a cow's milk cheese, soft and with a characteristic aroma. It is the soft cheese par excellence .

Taste: It has a mild flavour, with a subtle aroma of mould and fresh mushrooms, although a fruity and nutty aroma can sometimes be perceived. On the palate it presents delicate lactic flavours, with more strength and a bit of spiciness as the cheese matures.

Texture: Its delicate edible rind is thin and mouldy and white in colour. The pulp inside is pale or light yellow in colour. The texture is creamy to the touch and ideal for spreading. Flexible and firm when fresh and very creamy when ripe.

Region: Córdoba.

Maturation: In our cellar between 4° and 7°.

Pairing: White wines with good acidity are emblematic for this type of cheese and if we talk about red wines, it combines very well with light, young, fruity red wines.

Cut: In thin slices parallel to the sides of the portion.

Storage: In Santi packaging, in the refrigerator. To enhance the flavour and aroma, remove from the refrigerator 30 minutes before consumption.

Presentation: Wrapped in SANTI silicone paper to preserve moisture, in our special reusable container with zipper closure.
