Description
The name Vinyes Ocults, which means “Hidden Vineyard” in Catalan, refers to the reality of its location: it is hidden in the heart of a leafy avenue, not easily accessible to the passer-by and there are not many vine plantations in that area. If we look at its label, the image of the skull in the form of a mask symbolises the possibility of looking at the world through its imaginary eyes. The wine concentrates darkness, magic and mystery, an alchemy that can be contemplated; it exists and acquires meaning. But, in addition, in Aztec culture, the skull is a tribute to life versus death.
