Description
Characteristics: Hand braided, made with cow's milk. Light brown on the outside and yellowish on the inside of its spun paste. It is consumed with the shell. After its preparation and salting, it is naturally smoked, achieving an intense and special flavor.
Flavor: Ideal for cheese boards, fillings, rice gratins, pastas or also finely sliced by machine.
Texture: Rough on the outside when ripe, yellow, spun mass on the inside.
Region: Province of Buenos Aires.
Maturation: 4 weeks in our cellar at 4° .
Pairing: It is important to select wines aged in barrels that provide complex and tertiary notes, such as a Syrah, ideal for smoked cheeses.
Cutting: In thick slices transversal to the cheese .
Storage: In Santi packaging, in the refrigerator. To enhance the flavour and aroma, remove from the refrigerator 30 minutes before consumption.
Presentation: Wrapped in SANTI silicone paper to preserve moisture, in our special reusable container with zipper closure.
