Description
Selection of the best olives from the region combined in a unique and unrepeatable oil.
Varietal: 100% Arauco
Each harvest for this oil is extracted manually and delicately so as not to damage the fruit.
The olives for GRAN LAUR are obtained from the Cruz de Piedra estate, where the olive groves are more than 80 years old, in a traditional distribution of tall-crowned plants whose only option for harvesting is by hand. Currently, this estate is in transition to organic certification, since for several years it has been cultivated without adding any type of pesticide, insecticide or fertilizer foreign to the same nature of a traditional and natural crop.
The best Arauco olives are selected at a very early stage of ripeness to achieve a premium olive oil with an acidity of less than 0.19% and very marked organoleptic values. This olive oil is generally used to top blends and give character to oils without aggressiveness. For the first time in Argentina, it has been decided to put it on direct sale, only to people who understand olive oils.
Tasting notes: complex but very strong bitterness, extreme spiciness and very pronounced green fruity notes.
Presentation: In a “blue label” style box, there is a 750 cc bottle of rum imported from Chile, an Italian wooden stopper with an iron inlay and the LAUR wax seal to express authenticity.
